Pimpin' my Crush

I have added a new blog to my blog roll. It is The Chemical Buddha and it's one of my daily reads. Mostly because I have a seriously major crush on The Chemical Buddha. He's an alcoholic. He's addicted to drugs, and he'll have sex with anything that will hold still. But somehow, underneath all of his vulgar behavior, there's something sweet and endearing and vulnerable about him. If he were here right now I'd give him a hug, a kiss on the cheek, and I'd probably grab his ass. With both hands.

Anyway, go check it out. It's worth the read. Unlike my blog, it actually makes you think.

Warm Fuzzies,
Babs

  1. The Merry Crew of Captain Kidd is a musical that I am writing using songs from Great Big Sea. The story follows Captain Maxwell Kidd and his conniving crew of law-dodging pirates as they seek to raid government ships out at sea in order to give their earnings to the poor people of Ireland. Kidd and his crew often find themselves getting into serious trouble only to be singing and drinking merrily that night. A comedic-tragedy, The Merry Crew of Captain Kidd is full of lively up-tempo songs that reflect the cherry atmosphere of the musical. Enjoy what I have to put up, and let everyone know about this, as I plan to finish it soon.

  2. Adam - Wow! Way to pimp your musical on the post that was reserved for one of my friends. And pirates who give to the poor? Originally brilliant!

Oh how I choke on my own sarcasm.

  3. Enjoyed the quality and thinkability of TCB.

However I have a brain allergy to the penchant for speaking in THIRD PERSON....go ahead...might as well as plural tense use (TCB goes,TCB goes, TCB says, etc.)

  4. Retro - TCB isn't writing it. One of his monks is. Sadly, TCB died when he was 25. Sniff. Sniff. I guess I should have mentioned that in the post. Oops.

  6. Which means I have a crush on a dead dude, which isn't weird at all.
